Ukrainians living in the Czech Republic can prolong their temporary protection until March 31, 2025. The Czech Parliament sanctioned this measure on December 1. The official web portal for asylum seekers frs.gov.cz reports.

Under the new rules, Ukrainians will keep their ability to use state health coverage, education, and the job market.

How can Ukrainians continue their temporary protection status in the Czech Republic?

Until March 15, 2024, you must schedule an appointment to go to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. There, you will receive a visa sticker that confirms temporary protection.
