It is to reimburse the cost of utilities to homeowners who provided free shelter to internally displaced persons in September 2023.

In particular, these funds will be transferred to homeowners in Dnipropetrovs’k, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Khmelnytsky regions.

Therefore, the Shelter program has already provided complete funding for compensation for September of this year. The total amount of compensation provided exceeds 105 million UAH.

The Shelter program gives back about UAH 450 per month (14.77 UAH per day) to cover utility expenses for one IDP staying for free. The Ukrainian Red Cross Society funds these payments.

To join this program, you must register on the “Shelter” website and place an ad for temporary housing for IDPs.

To remind, the government resolution entrusted the implementation of the “Shelter” project to the Ministry of Reintegration.
