As part of the “Shelter” project, compensation has been funded for October 2023. This refers to the refund of utility bills to homeowners who have provided free shelter to IDPs.

In particular, on December 8 this year the Ukrainian Red Cross Society allocated a tranche of more than 105 million UAH. These funds will be for the compensation of more than 90 thousand homeowners.

The “Shelter” program provides for the payment of utilities of approximately 450 UAH per month (14.77 UAH per day) for the free accommodation of an IDP.

To participate in this program, you must register on the “Shelter” website and place an ad for temporary housing for IDPs.

The “Shelter” project has already paid compensation for January-September 2023 in the total amount of 1 billion 965 million UAH.

The government order entrusted the Ministry of Reintegration with the implementation of the “Shelter” project.
