The European Commission initiated a project with a budget to enhance medical service accessibility for our compatriots who have temporary protection in the EU and Moldova.

The EU4Health program will provide the funds, as stated on the European Commission’s website.

The initiative aims to enhance the capacity of national healthcare systems in countries hosting Ukrainians. It also aims to provide quality medical care, including vaccinations, to asylum seekers.

Our citizens are currently required to stay in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Moldova.

The initiative provides for Ukrainian doctors to work in specialized positions in host countries.

The project will last for two years and is backed by the European Commission, the World Health Organization, and the International Organization for Migration.
