Hanna and her family before the full-scale invasion lived in Staryi Merchyk, Kharkiv region. At that time, she and her husband worked at a furniture factory and planned to start their own business. 

The family was forced to evacuate to Klevan in the Rivne region due to Russian aggression.

“There were no questions about what to do,” Anna said.

The future entrepreneurs got started. They consulted with specialists from the Employment Service and decided to participate in the ‘Grant for Your Own Business’ program.

They created a business plan, applied for funding, passed an interview, and received a microgrant to launch their business.

The couple runs a furniture factory, fulfilling orders and planning to expand production.
