The event aimed to identify and implement practical steps to repatriate Ukrainian children who were illegally displaced or deported by the occupiers.

Delegations from Canada, Portugal, Lithuania, Ireland, Germany, the Vatican, and Qatar, with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the EU Special Representative for Human Rights attended the Coalition meeting.

The Ukrainian delegation presented their vision and proposed areas of cooperation for the return of deported children.

“The international community must take firm action against russian crimes against Ukrainian children. Resolutions are no longer enough. We need concrete steps to help us locate and bring back our children,” the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.
