The Coordination Center aims to support and coordinate assistance to the population affected by the armed conflict. It has been operating under the Sumy Regional Military Administration since June 2023.
The Coordination Center comprises 36 representatives from various sectors, including the government, public, international organizations, law enforcement agencies, the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, and the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Sumy Oblast.
Volodymyr Artyukh, the head of Sumy RMA, stated that the center collaborates with over 30 international and Ukrainian charitable organizations to aid Sumy region residents with various issues. Efficient and effective assistance is achieved through coordinated joint actions, which are an essential component of citizen reintegration and support.
