Military personnel can now buy train tickets even if they are sold out. This is stated in a message on the official website of Ukrzaliznytsia.  

Military personnel can book tickets online through a dedicated portal.

To do this, you must leave a request on the portal at least 6 hours before the departure of the train. And also redeem the ticket at the ticket office at least 1 hour before departure.

Special ticket orders are available for 17 trains that are most popular with military personnel. In particular, these are routes to and from cities near the combat zone.
