Diia.Business reports that the International Labor Organization has initiated a training program for women in Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions of Ukraine who aspire to establish their own childcare business for children under 3 years old.

The project aims to promote entrepreneurship, and gender equality, and increase the availability of childcare services.

We will select thirty participants for training. The participants will attend a 5-day intensive course on the main aspects of entrepreneurship in the childcare sector.  They will learn about business management, licensing, and financial planning. The course covers a range of important topics.

The best business plans will be selected upon completion.  The winners will receive grants of up to $25,000 to start their mini-kindergartens.
