The Cabinet of Ministers has developed a draft resolution to extend the period for physical identification of pension recipients at Oschadbank by three months. The draft resolution will be submitted to the Government soon.
The deadline for physically verifying persons at Oschadbank has been extended until April 1, 2024. This extension applies to internally displaced persons registered before February 24, 2022.
“Many IDP pensioners are calling the Ministry of Reintegration’s hotlines with questions about when they need to identify themselves at Oschadbank. They must have enough time to complete the process and continue receiving their pensions. Last week, the Governmental Committee reviewed the relevant draft resolution from the Cabinet of Ministers, as promised. I request that the Ministry of Social Policy promptly add it to the Government’s meeting agenda,” – Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized.
The draft regulatory changes were developed based on the work of the Coordination Headquarters for Ensuring the Realization of the Rights and Freedoms of IDPs. It is important to note that the content of the improved text must be as close as possible to the source text.
