Today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved amendments to Resolution No. 379 of 28.05.1993 at a meeting.

The procedure for issuing certificates for the right to use benefits to family members of killed or missing military personnel was amended to simplify it.

The draft act was created following Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk’s instructions.

 These procedures include:

1. Applying for a certificate. Obtaining a certificate.
2. The document outlines the procedures for applying for and obtaining certificates.
3. Lists the documents that can be used to obtain a certificate.
4. Some structural units or bodies are responsible for issuing certificates.

During the development and approval of the relevant document, issues were regularly discussed and resolved in veterans’ policy meetings.

To simplify obtaining the relevant certificate, we established a legislatively improved mechanism.
