Funds of more than 19 million UAH have already been transferred to regional budgets. Funds will be used to cover the additional costs of utilities consumed by the institutions providing free accommodation for IDPs from March 2022 – July 2023.

Municipal institutions, state educational institutions funded by local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities in the region and district are managed by regional and district councils.

The Government allocated these funds from the state budget’s reserve fund. The Ministry of Reintegration directed the funds to local budgets to compensate institutions that sheltered IDPs, following the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision.
