At today’s Government meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution to extend the period for physical identification of pension payment recipients at Oshchadbank by three months.
The deadline for physically verifying persons at Oschadbank has been extended until March 31, 2024. This extension applies to internally displaced persons who were registered before February 24, 2022.
According to the document, pension accrual continues even if the Pension Fund of Ukraine’s territorial bodies receive information from Oschadbank that there have been no expenditure transactions on the accounts for six consecutive months. However, starting on January 1, 2024, pensions will be transferred to recipients’ accounts once they are physically identified.
The CMU made relevant amendments to resolutions No. 637 of November 5, 2014, and No. 837 of August 8, 2023.
The regulatory changes were drafted based on the work of the Coordination Headquarters for Ensuring the Realization of the Rights and Freedoms of IDPs.
