The All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program ‘How are you?’ initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, includes a component called ‘Recovery’.

The Chernihiv Regional Military Administration reported that the main goal of the project is to assist in the adaptation and re-socialization of demobilized veterans.

Recovery involves five meetings with each group of participants. The meetings include various activities that help participants relax, recover emotionally, and communicate with their families.

The project employs a team of specialists. The team includes psychologists, social workers, lawyers, and volunteers.

The project team has already met with four families of demobilized war veterans with children. Later, six additional families will be included in the project.
