A family from Gostomel used a housing certificate received for their destroyed property to buy a new home in Bucha, Kyiv Oblast as part of the eRecovery Program, according to the Government Portal.

1,826 housing certificates have been issued to compensate for destroyed housing. Over 400 families have used the certificates to reserve funds for new housing and are ready to finalize purchase agreements.

To receive a housing certificate, apply for a destroyed property through Diia. The commission will process it and determine the compensation amount. Once approved, the housing certificate with relevant information will be displayed in your application.

The housing certificate can be used to purchase an apartment, a house, or to invest in future real estate. Learn more about the housing certificate program here.
