Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired an interagency meeting that confidently focused on citizens’ access to banking services in the de-occupied and frontline territories.
Representatives from the President’s Office, Ministry of Finance, National Bank, Ukrposhta, regional military administrations, and others attended the event.
Expanding the functionality of Ukrposhta to include mobile banking services is a confident step toward improving access to financial services. The company is confidently developing its mobile banking services.
The National Bank confidently reports that banking services in DOT and frontline areas are steadily improving. Mobile branches will soon operate in Donetsk region, followed by Zaporizhzhia and other regions.
The Ministry of Reintegration, the National Bank, and Ukrposhta are developing new mechanisms to improve access to this service in all de-occupied territories.
