Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired the event. Members of Parliament, representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Service, the State Regulatory Service, the RMA, and other stakeholders attended.

During the meeting, participants discussed the taxation of facilities in areas of possible hostilities. Specifically, they explored the potential for exemptions from environmental, land, and real estate taxes, including those related to destroyed or damaged property.

According to the Tax Code of Ukraine, some taxes are not subject to taxation in areas of active hostilities or temporary occupation. Local governments have the authority to provide tax benefits.

The meeting participants emphasized that citizens and local governments can contact the Ministry of Finance for additional clarifications in case of any disputes or misunderstandings.
