Iryna Vereshchuk, the Vice Prime Minister, chaired a meeting to discuss the agreements made during the meeting of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Moldovan Mixed Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Odesa on September 29, 2023.

During the meeting, the main achievements were discussed. Specifically, on December 21, seven draft protocols were signed to organize joint control at joint checkpoints along the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border.

This year, transit transportation of Ukrainian agricultural products through the Republic of Moldova will be subject to a 27% discount due to the agreements.

An agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova has entered into force. The agreement provides for the construction of a border crossing over the Dniester River on the state border near the settlements of Yampil and Cosăuţi.

Work on the implementation of other agreements continues.
