Residents in the de-occupied territories can receive free legal assistance remotely

After the return of control over the temporarily occupied territories, some citizens may require legal assistance. Free legal consultations are available through the legal aid system.

Specialists provide advice on the following issues:

– restoration of lost documents;

– recording damages and applying for compensation for damaged or destroyed property;

– establishing facts of legal significance: birth, death, etc;

– applying to law enforcement agencies on issues of ill-treatment, torture, and sexual violence in the context of war;

– other issues.

For an oral consultation, call the contact center of the free legal aid system at 0 800 213 103. Calls from landlines and mobile phones within Ukraine are free of charge. The contact center is open on weekdays from 08:00 to 18:00.
