Ukrainian asylum seekers in the Czech Republic can now extend their temporary protection until March 2025. The extension process occurs in two stages.

The first step is online registration.

• To create an account on the Information Portal for Foreigners, fill out the form with the required information. Also, indicate your current place of residence and confirm it.
• Authorized representatives must register children under the age of 15. Individuals who are 15 years or older must register independently.
• To complete your online registration, select a date and time to visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs office to receive your visa sticker. Once you have received the sticker, your temporary protection will be extended until September 30, 2024.

Please note that online registration must be completed by March 15, 2024.

Visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs office as the second step.

You must visit the MIA office on the date specified during online registration. Please note that you can only change the previously selected date in your account for valid reasons. After visiting a police station and affixing a visa sticker, temporary protection will be extended until March 31, 2025.

You must visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs office by September 30, 2024.
