The International Labor Organization and the All-Ukrainian Foundation ‘Step by Step’ have launched a training project for Ukrainian women. The project is called ‘Home-based Kindergarten for Young Children.’ The foundation announced this on its Facebook page.
The initiative aims to provide affordable childcare and development services for children.
Ukrainian women between the ages of 18 and 54, residing in the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, are invited to participate. They should have an interest in childcare and aspire to open their childcare center at home.
The competition will choose 30 participants. These participants will undergo training on the key aspects of starting and developing a business in early childhood care and development.
The top five most motivated participants will receive up to $5,000 in the hryvnia equivalent.
Kindergarten services must be accessible to those with limited financial resources.
