In 2022-2023, residents of the formerly occupied territories received financial assistance totaling 755.6 million hryvnias (19 million US dollars). 

The Government facilitated the payment process with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS).

The funds were sent via Ukrposhta to individuals residing in the liberated territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions.

Between the end of October 2022 and November 2023, IOM provided cash assistance to approximately 119,000 individuals from these regions, totaling over 459.8 million UAH.

During this period, the URCS provided financial assistance worth more than 295.7 million UAH to over 246,000 people.

The Ministry of Reintegration thanks the International Organization for Migration, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, regional military administrations, and Ukrposhta for their cooperation in supporting residents of the formerly occupied territories of Ukraine.
