The struggle for Donetsk airport during the modern history of Ukraine holds a special place.

Ukrainian soldiers, volunteers, and medics demonstrated their readiness to fight for the future of our country. They resisted the enemy for over 240 days under constant fire and in extremely difficult conditions, almost completely encircled.

For centuries, the Ukrainian spirit has been shaped by qualities such as self-sacrifice, unbreakable will, and love for the native land. These qualities are now helping us in the fight against the Russian invasion. It is important to maintain this self-identification during these times of full-scale invasion.
