Due to the high level of stress hormones, a person may not immediately notice that they need help and may not feel emotions or pain. Therefore, it is important to stay attentive to your mental state even if you are not physically injured and the shock has passed.
Communicate more frequently with family and friends, sharing your thoughts and feelings. This social support is crucial for 3-4 weeks.
Also, focus on everyday activities. These activities can help you distract yourself and feel calmer.
Additionally, recall the activities that helped you recover your strength and the actions that fueled your inner energy. Try to incorporate them into your routine.
If you are experiencing increased emotionality and irritability, loss of appetite, or trouble sleeping, do not hesitate to consult a specialist.
