The government’s “Affordable Loans” program has been in effect since February 2020. Since then, almost 80 thousand loans have been granted of 271 billion UAH.

According to the Government Portal, this year banks have spent:

– 1.9 billion UAH to replenish working capital;

– 1 billion UAH to manufacturing companies;

– 880 million UAH to enterprises operating in the high military risk zone;

– 544 million UAH for the implementation of investment projects.

Loans are most often granted to enterprises operating in agriculture, wholesale and retail trade, and the manufacturing industry.

PrivatBank, Oschadbank, and Raiffeisen Bank have issued the largest number of loans since the start of the program involving 45 banks.

The Ministry of Reintegration launched the state program ‘Affordable Loans 5-7-9%’ in March 2023. The program is aimed at providing loans to entrepreneurs from territories affected by hostilities and de-occupied territories.
