Half a million euros will come from Lithuania for the same program, the Government Portal reports.
The agreement was signed between the EC Delegation in Ukraine and the Lithuanian Central Project Management Agency (CPVA), which will implement the project.
The shelters will be built in the frontline regions. They will be built in Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
To this end, the Ministry of Education worked with the Lithuanian agency CPVA to identify the most vulnerable schools without minimal shelter or nearby metro stations.
The project will enable approximately 5,000 Ukrainian students to return to their desks.
