The eRecovery program has launched a new stage in Ukraine. Owners of destroyed private houses can receive payment and rebuild their homes on their land plots.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported this.
To apply for payment for destroyed property and begin construction, follow these steps:
- Enter the Diia app and update it.
- In the Services section, choose eRecovery.
- Report the damaged property. If you have already reported it, don’t do this again.
- Select ‘Claims for payment’ and then choose ‘Cash payment’ as the type of compensation.
- Complete the application.
The local government commission will determine the compensation amount within 30 days. Payments will then be made, and the owner will receive notification.
If the house has multiple co-owners, you can submit either a joint application or several separate ones. Each co-owner will receive compensation based on their share of the property.
Compensation will be paid in two installments of 50% each. You must submit an interim report in between.
Application for crediting to the card can be made only after termination of ownership of the destroyed object and submission of a notice on commencement of construction works.
Please note that the funds on your card can only be used at construction stores and with contractors who are part of the eRecovery program. You can find a comprehensive list of these stores at this link.
