The Cabinet of Ministers has amended its resolutions No. 884 of 30.11.2016 and No. 168 of 28.02.2022 today.

The procedure for payments to military personnel and their families during martial law is defined in these documents.

The draft amendments have been developed to simplify the procedure for determining the circle of persons entitled to receive financial support or assistance.

A clear list of state bodies entitled to receive information on persons entitled to receive military pay has been defined from now on.

The Ministry of Defense, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Main Directorate of the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the State Protection Directorate, the Administration of the State Special Communications Service, and the Administration of the State Special Transport Service are the organizations included.

This will help identify the family members of eligible servicemen who can receive financial aid or support.

The weekly meeting on veterans’ policy, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, initiated these regulatory changes.
