The Andrukhov family hails from Sievierodonetsk. They used to operate their bakery, but the full-scale invasion stopped the business because the production was destroyed.
Ms. Nadiya and her family were evacuated and found shelter in Bucha, Kyiv region. They arrived with only two bags of belongings that they managed to grab from their apartment.
Nadiia’s sons decided to reorganize the family business. They applied for a grant from the EU4Business program, funded by the European Union.
The company used the funds to buy new equipment, including a refrigerator, an oven, a socket cabinet, and an ice cream machine.
Nadiya says, “We offer a variety of croissants with different flavors, such as raspberry and maple syrup. Additionally, we bake buns with poppy seeds, cream, raisins, and bagels. The children enjoy our ice cream.”
Today, the business operates successfully. The family receives many visitors daily.
