The Government Portal reports that over 13,000 Ukrainians have received grants to start or expand their businesses.

The government’s eRobota project launched in July 2022. So far, 1,000 documents have been issued:

– The ‘Grant for Your Own Business’ program awarded 12,227 microgrants totaling 2.9 billion UAH;

– 660 grants, totaling 3.3 billion UAH, have been awarded for the development of processing enterprises;

– 157 grants totaling 705 million UAH have been awarded for the development of horticulture and greenhouses;

– Veterans and their families have been awarded 222 grants worth 90 million UAH.

Both experienced entrepreneurs and those with no prior experience can apply for a grant. To apply, submit an application through the Diia portal with a business plan.

To receive a grant, you must create new jobs. Microgrants require 1-2 new jobs, while other programs may require several dozen. The grant funds are returned to the state through taxes and fees paid during the company’s operations within 3 years.
