Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized this at an interagency meeting she chaired.

During the meeting, the participants discussed potential changes to the Order of the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 308/519, which was issued on October 5, 2005. The Vice Prime Minister instructed the development of these changes during a weekly meeting on veterans’ policy.

This document regulates the remuneration of employees involved in social services for veterans. The workload of specialized social workers is increasing significantly due to the growing needs of veterans and their families.

Communities will soon be able to increase salaries for employees of veterans’ centers thanks to these innovations.
