A soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who had recently returned from captivity, contacted the Ministry of Reintegration. He reported that his mother and 14-year-old sister are in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.
The man requested assistance in relocating his family to a government-controlled territory.
The family was able to leave the temporary occupation with the help of the Ministry of Reintegration, the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, and the volunteer organization Helping to Leave.
The soldier’s family is already on government-controlled territory. Soon, they will be reunited and able to embrace.
