Olha and her family had to leave their home in the temporarily occupied Polohiv district and relocate to Zaporizhzhia.

Before the full-scale invasion, she worked as an economist. Confectionery was her hobby and longtime dream.

Olga says that she began baking desserts at home when she went on maternity leave. She wasn’t used to sitting still and enjoyed treating her family, friends, and acquaintances to her goodies.

The young entrepreneur started building her business from scratch in her new location.  She used grant funds to purchase equipment such as an oven, a blender, and a refrigerated display case.

Olga has clients from all over Zaporizhzhia who want to try the desserts prepared by the refugee pastry chef.
