Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk spoke about this on the sidelines of the Veterans Business Forum “Support for Veterans Entrepreneurship: From National to Regional Perspective’.

The Vice Prime Minister stated that the state is currently providing grants to stimulate veteran businesses. However, this is insufficient. It is necessary to discuss special lending options to start or support veteran businesses. State-owned banks could potentially deploy these options.

“The state should encourage Ukrainian and foreign investors to invest in veteran entrepreneurship. This is possible because we are talking about small businesses,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.

“We need to try different models. When something works well, we need to scale it up immediately. This is the role of the state,” said the Vice Prime Minister.
