Today, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired an interagency meeting to discuss the completion of the Galicia Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities.
The Halychyna Rehabilitation Center in Lviv Oblast cares for military personnel and veterans who are undergoing rehabilitation after severe injuries.
The rehabilitation complex needs to be completed by reconstructing the premises and increasing the number of beds to 400.
“The state is doing everything to strengthen the capacity of such centers. We want as many veterans as possible to return to normal life,” the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.
Currently, around 300 military personnel are receiving rehabilitation services at the Halychyna Rehabilitation Center. These services include medical, psychological, and social rehabilitation.
