Relocated higher education institutions may be eligible for a grant of up to $25,000

The ‘Dream and Act’ grant program is available to public higher education institutions that were displaced by the war. This includes colleges, institutes, universities, academies, technical schools, vocational schools, and conservatories.

Priority will be given to projects aimed at:

– Restoring the digital learning infrastructure;

– Improve student support services, including mental health and psychosocial support.

Program Participant Requirements:

  1. Must be an accredited state institution of higher education.
  2. The institution must have the status of a higher education institution displaced as a result of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation and be officially registered by the relocation procedure.
  3. The government of Ukraine should locate the management and teaching staff within its territory.

The grant amount ranges from 5 to 25 thousand US dollars. Grant funds will be paid in UAH according to the NBU exchange rate on the date of the request.

To apply for the program, send the full package of documents to [email protected]  by March 15, 2024. The application should be submitted by a consortium/partner team comprising representatives of a non-governmental organization and a higher education institution.
