According to a recent resolution, the Slovakian government has extended temporary protection for Ukrainian asylum seekers until March 4, 2025. 

The EU Council’s decision to extend temporary asylum for Ukrainians until March 4, 2025, was the reason for the adoption of the resolution.

Asylum seekers in Slovakia with temporary protection status are permitted to work, receive secondary and higher education, access medical care and housing, and receive financial assistance if necessary.
