During the meeting, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired a discussion on the draft resolution.
The Ministry of Social Policy developed this policy for children living in areas of active or possible hostilities, as well as for IDPs. It applies to all such children.
The adoption of the resolution will expand the list of categories of children eligible for rehabilitation at the Artek International Children’s Center. This will enable more children from frontline areas to be sent there.
The document suggests changing the Procedure for using state budget funds assigned for recreation and leisure in Artek.
The draft resolution states that vouchers for children from active hostilities territories will be distributed based on need. These vouchers will make up one-third of the total number of vouchers allocated for rehabilitation at the Artek Children’s Center.
The responsible authorities have received the draft act for approval.
The Vice Prime Minister emphasized the need to provide free vouchers to children from frontline regions so that they can improve their health at the children’s center.
