The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that a resident was served a notice of suspicion of collaboration under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine by law enforcement officers.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, aged 57, started collaborating with the enemy in July 2022. She held a senior position in the health department that was illegally created by the occupiers.
The woman used a fake name while working. She obeyed the orders of the occupation authorities and adjusted the operations of healthcare facilities to meet russian standards.
The Security Service of Ukraine’s website states that the suspect organized the conversion of seized hospitals into military hospitals for wounded occupants in this ‘position.’
Additionally, the offender supplied medicine to russian troops and the occupying authorities of the aggressor country.
The woman is currently in custody and may face up to 10 years in prison, with the possibility of property confiscation.
