Today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a procedure to monitor compliance with international humanitarian law.

During monitoring, any violations of International Humanitarian Law will be recorded and entered into a special electronic register. The data will then be sent to specialized international organizations.

This ensures a rapid response to violations of international humanitarian law and subsequent prosecution of the perpetrators.

The Interdepartmental Commission on the Application and Implementation of International Humanitarian Law in Ukraine, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, decided to create an electronic register of IHL violations.

Please note that the Ministry of Reintegration is the state body responsible for implementing state policy on compliance with international humanitarian law in Ukraine.
