Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said this during a national telethon. According to her, the establishment of joint control, including over grain transit, will allow us to see what, how much, and where it is going.

The official believes that this process should be transparent and clear. This will help resolve existing differences.

“The problem of grain transit is about trust. And trust is first and foremost about control. If there is joint control at our checkpoints, there will be trust. If we exchange customs data: what is being transported, where, in what quantity, and at what cost, there will be no problems,” Iryna Vereshchuk summarized.
