Proposals for amending the resolution that approves the procedure for providing housing allowances to internally displaced persons have already been developed.

It is proposed to include IDPs in the categories eligible for these payments: 

– Children are placed temporarily in the care of foster caregivers, including relatives, friends, foster families, or family-type children’s homes;

– People who are seriously ill and have not been diagnosed with a disability.

If the total monthly income per recipient in such a family is less than 9444 UAH:   

– persons of pre-retirement age;

– persons with disabilities of group III;

– people caring for a child under 3 years of age or a child in need of care under 6 years of age;

– persons whose families include children under 18 and/or under 23 years of age who are full-time or dual-enrolled students in vocational (vocational-technical), professional higher education, and higher education institutions.
