Following the enemy attack, the Kharkiv region experienced a partial power outage. As a result, during a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, it was decided to dispatch a special Food Train to the region. 

Today, the kitchen team began working and preparing nearly 6,000 meals for residents of the Kharkiv region. The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration coordinated the delivery of these meals to hospitals, temporary accommodation centers for internally displaced persons, and those affected by yesterday’s hostile shelling.

The Vice Prime Minister stated that thanks to the cooperation with their partners, they can quickly assist people in need. The Ukrzaliznytsia kitchen train, which operates with the support of the Howard Buffett Foundation, was promptly dispatched as an example of such coordinated work.
