Olena Sydorenko and Oksana Petleva, sisters and hairdressers, have been working in Bakhmut for over 30 years. After invading russia, they moved their business to a safer location.
The sisters’ business history dates back to the 2000s. Olena, who was working as a hairdresser at the time, had the idea of starting her own business. She opened her salon in 2001.
Her sister Oksana soon joined the team. The sisters have accumulated a significant client base during their work.
After relocating to Poltava, the sisters found new premises and equipped them. They also attracted new visitors.
Entrepreneurs do not stop there. They improve their skills by taking courses regularly.
The salon now attracts not only clients from Bakhmut or Poltava but also internally displaced persons from other cities.
