The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has started a mobile medical team in Sumy region this week. The team will offer free primary health care in remote settlements of the Krasnopil community. This information is available on the URCS website.
The mobile medical team consists of a family doctor, nurses, and a driver. They provide consultations, conduct health examinations, measure blood pressure, blood sugar, and oxygenation levels, prescribe a treatment regimen, and provide over-the-counter medications to alleviate the person’s condition.
There are currently six mobile teams in the Sumy region that assist in the communities of Krolevets, Trostyanets, Hlukhiv, Nedryhailivka, Putivl, and Krasnopil.
These teams have provided over 23,000 consultations during their year and a half of work in the Sumy region.
