The Crimean Tatar people’s representatives are invited to participate in free advocacy training

The International Republican Institute in Ukraine has stated on its website that participants of the ‘Advocacy Academy for Crimean Tatars’ will be able to launch their advocacy campaign. 

The training will occur from April 18th to 21st in Lviv.

Topics to be discussed:

  1. What is advocacy and how it can help the whole world to talk about a socially important issue.
  2. The most successful domestic and international advocacy campaigns on Crimean issues.
  3. The role of the media component in the advocacy campaign.
  4. Successful cases of advocacy campaigns.

The organizers promise to ensure the safety of the participants during martial law. Additionally, the conditions include provisions for travel, accommodations, and meals.

The competition will choose approximately 25 participants.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will support the training.
