During a weekly meeting on veterans’ policy, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk underscored the importance of this issue.
The meeting addressed the current status of a draft resolution on the provision of medical services for routine dental care to specific categories of individuals. These include combatants, individuals with disabilities resulting from war, and others.
To do this, we had to decide how much to charge for medical services.
The Ministry of Veterans, Finance, and the National Health Service of Ukraine met with state, municipal, and private dental clinics.
At the meeting, the prices for dental care were discussed and agreed upon.
Furthermore, we consulted with dental professionals to identify practical and professional suggestions regarding specific examinations.
It is planned to begin coordinating the draft resolution with the central executive authorities this week.
“Dental care is important for veterans’ health and comfort. We must make this program work as soon as possible,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
