This matter was addressed at a weekly meeting of the Coordination Center for IDPs, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

The Ministry of Reintegration’s hotline occasionally receives complaints from citizens regarding the calculation of payments. These complaints allege that documents submitted for this purpose do not take into account the results of the family composition survey.

“People should get the IDP benefits they are entitled to, even if their family members don’t live with them,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.

A certificate attesting to the family composition of a residential unit can be issued by a co-owners association, building manager, or other relevant utility company. The form of this certificate is currently not prescribed but must be approved, for example, by local authorities.

Following the meeting, the Vice Prime Minister directed the development of a unified certificate format to be accepted by social security departments.
