The idea behind the Made in Ukraine economic platform is to support Ukrainian businesses by buying their products. Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal said this during a panel discussion at the forum “Life of the Regions in the Time of War,” The Government Portal reports.

He says that the philosophy behind the all-Ukrainian economic program, “Made in Ukraine,” which was started by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is to support businesses, encourage production, and boost demand.

The Head of Government said that 40% of the money from selling Ukrainian goods goes to the state budget. This means that the country can pay for its security and defense sector from its resources.

It also helps to keep human capital in Ukraine, especially by getting Ukrainians who live abroad to come back. It will help Ukraine rebuild and grow its economy.

This year, the state budget is set to provide more than 45 billion UAH for business support programs. This is the first time that such an amount has been allocated, and it could add 1% to Ukraine’s GDP.
