Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk visited the Chernivtsi region. She met with the Coordination Center for Civilian Support under the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration.

Veteran Hub, a community for veterans to help other demobilized soldiers adapt to civilian life, is scheduled to open in Chernivtsi in May.

Eight more centers will open in Chernivtsi Oblast by 2024. The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is helping to equip them.

The Veterans’ Policy Department in the region is based at the Regional Military Administration. Its remit is to assist veterans with the transition from military service to civilian life.

Veterans and their relatives meet there to discuss problems.

There is also a social support office for military personnel and their families in Chernivtsi. The office helps the military and their families and regional authorities communicate.
